About Brogan Amelia Darbyshire

Currently studying BA Fine Art at Leeds College Of Art. Gender perception has been a recurring theme in my work as it has developed throughout my degree course. I am currently interested in the fluidity of gender and how this is impacted upon via the gaze, how the use of colour dictates so much in terms of assumptions. Looking into why we conform to so many stereotypes simply as a result of our biological gender, and seeks to determine if nature is stronger than nurture.
